James Hendry

Modern Day Renaissance Man

In today’s LEGEND LIFE STORY interview I will be speaking to James Hendry who likes to think of himself as a modern day version of a renaissance man. He is a wildlife guide, wildlife TV presenter who presented over 50 TV shows for Nat Geo Wild, SABC (South Africa) and CGTN (China), speaker, conservationist, photographer and musician.

He is also the author of four books, Whatever You Do, Don’t Run, A Year In The Wild, Back To The Bush, and Reggie & Me, which transport you between the South African wild and into midst of Apartheid in suburban Johannesburg.

James reveals his journey from want to be musician after university to wildlife guide and presenter, to author who is always hungry to hear that he’s made people laugh. James shares what living a legendary life means to him, his advice to others turning forty and three life lessons he has learned in life.
